A 58-year-old Englishman, Mike Hansford, is currently reported missing. Hansford was last seen in Marsascala on Tuesday night at 10:30pm.

Hansford had actually arrived in Malta earlier that day and was planning on staying with some friends. “He went out during the night and has not returned,” Hansford’s friends told Lovin Malta. “He’s not answering his phone, so we suspect it might have gotten lost or stolen.”

After filing a report with the police, Hansford’s friends starting walking around the streets with his photo, later also taking to popular groups like Expats Malta to try and get any information on their missing friend.

“We are very concerned and worried,” they said. “If you’ve seen him, please could you let us know? Or if you could get a message to him, please tell him to contact home.”
