64-Year-Old Man Killed In Marsaskala Traffic Accident
A 64-year-old man lost his life in a traffic accident in Marsaskala late last night.
Police said that at around 11:30 p.m last night, they were informed about a traffic incident on Triq Sant’ Antonio, Marsaskala.
Initial investigations found that a 64-year-old Marsaskala resident was hit by a Ford Transit van driven by a 49-year-old male Fgura resident.
The victim received assistance from a medical team and was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries a short while later.
A magisterial inquiry is underway.
