A 68-year old Siġġiewi resident suffered injuries of a serious nature while driving in his hometown – after losing control and colliding with a wall.

The crash occurred on Triq l-Imqabba at around 4pm yesterday.

A medical team and ambulance were sent to the scene – and took him to Mater Dei for medical treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing.
