7-Year-Old Son Found Hiding Drugs Of Suspected Traffickers During Raid In Valletta

The seven-year-old son of a suspected drug trafficker was found trying to hide drugs during a police raid.
In court, Inspector Kevin Pulis said that the boy was found alone in a bedroom and confessed that he hid something underneath a double bed.
Appoġġ has since been called in to take care of the child and he is currently under a temporary care order.
The property itself was described as a fort, with all its opening covered up.
Another five or six people, believed to be users, were found during the raid. One of them was a runner for the couple in exchange for free food, lodging and drugs.
Judith Bakoush, the boy’s mother, Morat Abdikadir Mohammed Naswan and Joseph Borg have been charged in connection with the drug operation. All three have pleaded not guilty.
Officers were alerted to the ring following an anonymous tip and conducted the raid following surveillance on the couple.
Cocaine, cannabis, heroin and jewellery were found in properties in Valletta and a stable in Marsa.
