70-Year-Old Man At Mater Dei Passes Away With COVID-19
A 70-year-old man has passed away whilst testing positive for COVID-19.
The elderly person was admitted to Mater Dei hospital on 15th October and tested positive for the virus on the same day.
He was being treated at the hospital until he passed away yesterday.
According to the health ministry, he suffered from chronic health conditions.
The elderly man has become Malta’s 54th COVID-19 related death.
