A 74-year-old man from Għargħur was rushed to hospital after he was attacked by another man with a sharp object.

The incident occurred at around 5:45 pm on Sqaq Warda in Għargħur. The suspect is believed to be a 58-year-old man also from Għargħur and is currently being detained by the police.

The conditions of the victim is unknown.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
