77-Year-Old Man Dies After Suffering Head Injury While Working On Xagħra Rooftop
A 77-year-old British national died after suffering an accident while working on a residential rooftop in Xagħra.
In a statement, police said they were informed of the incident in Triq Ta’ Gorf at around 5pm yesterday.
Investigations showed that the man, a Xagħra resident, was working on the rooftop when an unspecified object fell on his head.
He was given medical assistance and taken to the Gozo General Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
