A 35-Year Old Inmate Has Just Died In Malta’s Prison Under Mysterious Circumstances

The police have confirmed they are investigating the death of a 35-year-old prisoner, whose body was found this morning.
In a brief statement, the police said the prisoner, whose identity has not yet been made public, was found dead in his cell at Kordin at around 7:45am. Preliminary investigations indicate no signs of violence on his body.
Magistrate Joe Mifsud has been tasked with an inquiry into his death.
