A Boat-Based Clean-Up Of Comino’s Caves And Inlets Is Going Down On Sunday, And You Are Invited
With summer coming to a close next week, Malta is gearing up its winter preparations – and to kickstart the movement, Golden Bay’s water sports centre will be spending the day cleaning up Comino tomorrow – and all hands are needed.
Aqua Marine Water Sports is calling for any volunteers who wish to join them on their boats as they clean up Comino’s caves and inlets.
Speaking to Lovin Malta about their efforts, the centre had this to say:
“We want to give something back to the Maltese waters after having such a great summer of fun (and good business). So we’re organising a boat to take our staff over to Comino, whoever wants to join and spend the afternoon cleaning the caves from plastic and other trash is welcome to, however due to space on the vessels we can only take a few on a first come first served basis.”
There are just a few days left to catch Malta’s seas in all their glory, sunsets are going to start coming in a lot earlier from Monday so why not get out on a boat, pick up some plastic and marvel in the beauty of an early orange sky?
