‘A Teacher, Mentor And Father Figure’: St Michael School Pays Tribute To Jeremy Gambin
St Michael School & Foundation has paid tribute to the late coach Jeremy Gambin, who worked as a PE teacher there for several years.
Jeremy and his wife Lorraine, along with Kevin and Alexandra Bonnici, were tragically killed in a car accident in Croatia this week.
“It is certainly not easy to put into words what our dear Mr. Gambin meant to the St. Michael community,” the school said.
“For over 20 years, Mr. Gambin was one of the true pillars of our Sports Department – a teacher, mentor and father figure to so many of our students.”
“He was the kind of educator who led with kindness, humility, and strength – always ready with a word of encouragement and a smile that lifted those around him.”
“To his colleagues, he was a true gentleman and a dear friend, always generous with his support and wisdom, even after his retirement.”
“Mr. Gambin’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he taught, and the community he helped build. He will be remembered with great love and gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing him.”
“May the Lord grant Mr. and Mrs. Gambin, and their dear friends Mr. and Mrs. Bonnici – all beloved grandparents within our school community – eternal rest and peace.”
