A Year Of War: Flash Mob For Ukraine Happening Tonight In Valletta At 6pm
A flash mob and a peaceful rally are set to take place in Valletta tonight to mark the one-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
”As part of the global campaign for the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, a peaceful rally called ‘Ukrainian victory is the whole world’s victory’ will be held tonight,” the event organisers stated.
A flash mob, visually depicting the living map of Ukraine, will commence at 6pm at Valletta’s city gate, in front of the country’s parliament.
During the flash mob, flashlights covered in blue and yellow tape will be used, to represent the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
A procession through Valletta will proceed after the flash mob, finishing off at around 7pm next to the Triton fountain with a general speech.
The public is being told to take flags and to use the #LightWillWinOverDarkness when posting photos of the rally on social media.
