Murder suspect Abner Aquilina used details of what he did to Paulina Dembska’s body as he raped and murdered her to impress his new prison buddies.

New details from court today show the depraved nature of Aquilina’s actions, and the little remorse he has since the fateful day.

Inspector Jonathan Ransley explained what Aquilina has been up to while being remanded in custody since the murder in January 2021.

Aquilina has been heard laughing and boasting about what he did to the Polish woman – and he even told other prisoners that he had negotiated a 20-year prison sentence as part of a plea bargain, something the inspector denied.

At one point, he explained that he had used his car key to sexually violate Dembska’s genitals, something the autopsy confirmed.

Aquilina was also overheard while using his phone threatening to murder both his mother and lawyer. He was also heard saying he wants to kill again if he is let out.

In court, Aquilina’s mother sat behind her son as he laughed hysterically during points in the case, including when graphic details of what happened to Dembska’s body were recounted.

Aquilina has also not hidden himself while undertaking sexual acts in front of other prisoners, once even revealing his penis after a female police officer was nearby.
