Adrian Delia Calls For Unprecedented PN Work After Extremely Encouraging Survey Result
Nationalist MP Adrian Delia has urged his colleagues to work harder than ever to convince the nation in light of an extremely encouraging survey result.
“The battle we started five years ago and which resulted in a Maltese victory started giving fruit,” Delia said. “Hope has been sown. Now we must work harder than we have ever done. Have courage and never love heart because righteousness will triumph.”
A new MaltaToday survey found that the Labour Party lost eight percentage points over the past month while the PN gained six, placing the polls at 30.8% for PL and 28.4% for PN.
Prime Minister Robert Abela crashed in popularity, losing 11 points to clock in at 34.3%, his worst score in a MaltaToday survey yet, while Opposition Leader Bernard Grech gained six points to reach 26.1%.
This was the first survey carried out after Delia’s landmark court victory against the Vitals-Steward hospital contract.
