Adrian Delia Refused Accommodation Offer To Make Sure Frontliners Are Prioritised

PN Leader Adrian Delia was offered accommodation after moving out of his home to protect his vulnerable parents in the COVID-19 pandemic, but insisted the place be kept for Malta’s doctors and nurses on the frontline, PN news outlet Net News has reported.
The accommodation was offered by a friend of the PN leader but Delia reportedly turned it down to ensure spaces were made available for healthcare workers to live in whilst working through the crisis.
Delia has been living at the Nationalist Party’s headquarters in Pietà to protect his elderly parents in light of the COVID-19 crisis.
According to NET, sources from MUMN said Delia was one of the first to help health care workers find alternative accommodation free of charge the health crisis began.
