The Malta Police Force have issued a smart take on marketing following one of their very own going viral this week.

“You need not be Messi or Ronaldo to join the Malta Police, but football skills might come in handy in our engagement with the community,” the force said alongside shots of PC 2001 Janice Xuereb.

Xuereb has been caught in action dribbling and showing off her football skills as some young girls watched nearby in Valletta.

Her video went viral, leading many in the public to praise Xuereb for a fun way of engaging with the public – and now, the police force are running with the positive vibes, keeping it light but focused in their ad for new officers.

Xuereb is a goalkeeper of the Malta’s Women National Football Team and also plays with Birkirkara FC.
