After Over 5,000 Votes, These Are The Top Three In PN Leader Poll

More than 5,000 people took part in a Lovin Malta poll on who should succeed Bernard Grech as leader of the Nationalist Party.
The poll was not intended as a scientific survey and was open to the general public, whereas only PN tesserati can vote for a leader.
It was published very soon after Grech announced his resignation to get an immediate sense of public opinion, and with so many people taking part, it could be indicative of public sentiment.
Gozitan MP Alex Borg came out on top, with 47% of the vote, followed by European Parliament President Roberta Metsola with 27% and former PN MP Franco Debono with 10%.
PN MP and former leader Adrian Delia was fourth with 7%
