Ahead Of Budget 2023, Here Are Four Key Concerns Malta Has According To This New Survey
A new survey speaking to over 1,600 people ahead of today’s Budget 2023 has revealed what the main thoughts are on voters’ minds.
The 2023 Malta Budget Public Perception Survey, by Malta Survey powered by IDEA Group, found four main areas of concern in their wide-ranging questionnaire.
1.When it comes to people’s main area of concern, a review of wages came in top place with 51.4% of people saying this was their biggest priority.
Rising food prices came in second place, while topics like business or family subsidies came in last place.
2.And when it comes to sectors that need improvement, the environment was found to be the highest priority sector to be addressed in this budget.
The health and education sectors came in as the next sectors people hoped would be addressed in the budget.
3. The survey also found that the public expected the state to use funds in a more appropriate manner.
Be it from the government, or from state agencies.
4. Finally, it found that there was an “overall sentiment of uncertainty (neither positivity nor negativity) towards the budget”.
