Air Malta Announces Upcoming Flight Delays Due To Italy National Strike
Due to the ongoing national strike in Italy affecting air transport, Air Malta has announced its upcoming delays, affecting four flights happening today and tomorrow.
In a statement, Air Malta advised regarding the following delays, telling passengers that such changes are beyond the airline’s control.
“Air Malta regrets to advise the following delays: KM624 from Malta to Milan Linate will depart at 4pm on 20th October, KM625 from Milan Linate to Malta will depart at 6.40pm on 20th October.
Meanwhile, “KM674 from Malta to Naples will depart at 7.30am on 21st October (+ 1 day) and KM675 from Naples to Malta will depart at 9.30am on 21st October (+ 1 day).”
Customers booked on these flights have been automatically confirmed on the revised itinerary. Customers also have the option to either rebook to travel on an alternative flight by contacting the Air Malta Customer Service Centre on 00356 21662211 from Monday to Friday and from Saturday to Sunday.
“Alternatively to receive a full ticket refund customers may email [email protected]. For any flights booked through a travel agent, customers should contact their travel agent who can submit a refund request on their behalf.”
Air Malta expressed its regret towards any inconvenience caused which is completely beyond the airline’s control.
