Alex Borg Says PN Podcast Fundraiser Crashed Due To Surge Of Interest
Alex Borg said there was so much initial interest in the PN’s new podcast fundraiser that the online system crashed shortly after it went live.
The PN leader said the party has raised just over €1,000 so far out of its €15,000 target.
“Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far towards our crowdfunding effort for the PN’s first podcast,” Borg said.
“Just over €1,000 has already been collected, so much so that the system couldn’t keep up. I urge those who tried to donate yesterday but couldn’t do so to try again today.”
“This is a strong signal we are giving as a party. This is the hope we are sowing together so that Malta can have a strong voice that resonates.”
Borg had promised a PN podcast during his leadership campaign, stating in an interview with Lovin Malta that it could help the party think outside the box and reach new audiences.
The podcast host hasn’t yet been selected.
