Incredible news: Kane Debattista, the little boy that united the Maltese behind his battle with cancer, has successfully been operated on and is doing well.

Kane had gone up to England recently to undergo an important operation in his fight against the terminal disease, with people all over the island waiting to hear the result of the operation.

Now, his family and loved ones have posted the amazing news that the operation was successful and that Kane was doing well. They also thanked everybody on and off social media for the outpouring of love and support they’ve experienced from the Maltese.

Kane Debattista, the young Floriana FC fan, captured the hearts of his favourite football club, who started a supporters’ group under the hashtag #UniteForKane

Suffering from a tumor in his kidneys and liver, the youth has been inspiring people all over Malta and beyond in his fight for his life. But with the latest good news from his operation in England, there is now more hope than ever for the future of this brave and inspirational youth.
