Andre Callus Calls Out Roberta Metsola Over Silence On Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

Moviment Graffitti activist Andre Callus has taken to social media to call out European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, accusing her of staying silent in the face of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
Callus pointed out that even historic allies of Israel, like the UK, have begun to publicly condemn the bombardment and worsening humanitarian conditions, including images of starving children and increasingly extreme statements by Israeli leaders.

“I had a quick look at Roberta Metsola’s page,” he wrote. “Nothing. Silence. Just photos of her posing with Oprah Winfrey, the Pope, Friedrich Merz, etc.”
He went on to criticise Metsola directly, reminding the public that she was one of the first leaders to visit and congratulate Israeli officials back in 2023, following accusations of war crimes and widespread civilian casualties in Gaza.
“It’s shocking how our country has produced such a large number of politicians without a spine, without principles… and without humanity,” Callus ended his statement.
What are your thoughts on Callus’ criticism of Metsola? Should she speak out?
