Watch: ‘Puppies In Perfect Condition Were Killed’ – Exclusive Interview With Animal Welfare Whistleblower Out Now
A whistleblower has revealed the worrying state of the Animal Welfare Directorate in a new exclusive interview with Lovin Malta.
Among the shocking claims is an instance where healthy puppies were killed unnecessarily by the directorate.
“We heard the dog that fell from the (Valletta) bastions was pregnant and about to give birth, and after she gave birth, her puppies, aside from one, were all in perfect condition. But they were still killed,” the whistleblower said, noting that the order was given due to a “lack of space” to keep the puppies.
The interview also touches upon virus outbreaks within the care facility as well ad interference from above, among other serious allegations.
