Two men have been arrested after an argument involving a knife broke out in a busy Ħamrun road.

Rapid Intervention Officers arrived on scene outside a car showroom as a crowd of bystanders began to gather and watch the evolving scene. Officers approached a group of men, before restraining one of the ground.

The incident happened at around 11am in Triq Ħal Qormi, near a car showroom.

The identity of the arrested men is as yet unknown; they were taking to the Ħamrun police station for further questioning. TVM originally posted footage of the incident,

This incident comes after a brawl recently broke out in another Ħamrun road, leading to a national discussion on safety in certain Maltese localities.
