Arnold Cassola Confirms Plan To Launch A New Political Party
Arnold Cassola has confirmed that he plans to launch a new political party and that it could be up and running in the coming months.
Cassola told MaltaToday that he doesn’t want the party to be seen as “Cassola’s party” and that he views himself as a catalyst for change and bringing people with similar values together.
Cassola, a former ADPD leader, won around 13,000 first-count votes at the MEP election earlier this year, his best result since 2004. He has remained politically active since then, organising three ‘vision circles’ as policy brainstorming sessions.
“The hundreds of people joining these events are all inspired by a love for their country,” Cassola said.
“Instead of just grumbling about the state of politics, there’s an urge to change the way politics is done,” he said.
