Arnold Cassola has unveiled the leadership team for his new Momentum party, featuring a lineup of fresh faces new to Maltese politics alongside himself.

Cassola, a co-founder of Alternattiva Demokratika, will serve as the chairperson of Momentum, while Mark Camilleri Gambin will be the secretary general and former BOV executive Carmel Asciak will be the treasurer.

The remainder of the committee will be composed of architecture graduate Sumaya Ben Saad, educators Katya Compagno and Natasha Azzopardi, and geophysicist Matthew Agius.

Momentum is set up to be a centrist party, focusing on good governance, a flourishing environment and a just economy, although detailed policies have yet to be fleshed out.
