Arson Attack In Bulebel Parking Lot Leaves Four Cars ‘Extensively Damaged’

Police are investigating a suspected arson attack that occurred late last night in the industrial zone of Bulebel in what they believe could be an intentional attack.

At around 11:50 pm last night, police were informed that four vehicles had caught on fire and were currently burning in the limits of ?ejtun. Members of the police force as well as Civil Protection Department officers were called in to battle the flames and bring the situation under control.

On the scene, it was established that four cars had caught on fire – a Renault, a Citroen, and two Ford vehicles, police have confirmed.

The police are treating this as a case of suspected arson and investigations are underway to confirm this and find the people responsible for the attack. No one was injured in the attack.

This is far from the first arson attack occurring in recent times.

Just recently, a Maltese men was sent to prison after he burned a family’s car in front of their house as they cowered inside their home in ?abbar.

Other recent arson attacks have also been reported everywhere from Valletta to Mellie?a.
