Kristen didn’t know where to turn to when she was diagnosed with Central Neurocytoma at the tender age of 18.

Central neurocytomas are types of brain tumours found in the ventricles, which are the fluid-filled spaces within the brain. These lesions may obstruct spinal fluid flow and/or put pressure on surrounding structures, causing symptoms including headaches and confusion.

In the midst of this new challenge, Kristen found herself becoming part of a new family – the Puttinu Cares family.

“I never would have dreamed that I’d become a part of this family where they welcomed me and my loved ones without even knowing us,” Kristen said, sharing photos of her successful recovery journey with the support of Puttinu Cares.

“Puttinu’s motto of ‘Home Away From Home’ is 100% true.”

Incredibly, Kristen still feels their support even after making a recovery.

“They are still supporting us till today, making our lives easier during the times when you don’t have any chance to think.”

“Angele and Rene show true love.”

Kristen ended by urging those who can to support and donate to Puttinu Cares’ national Good Friday marathon which will be shown on all TV stations.
