Attard Man At Risk Of Dying After Falling Off Truck In Paola
A 65-year-old man is at risk of dying after falling off a truck while doing some works at Paola.
At around 10.15am, police were informed of an accident that occurred in the Ras Ħanzir area, within the industrial zone of Kordin in Paola.
Police went to the scene and found that a Maltese man, resident of Attard, fell from a truck while he was working.
Civil Protection Members and a medical team were called to the scene to assist, and an ambulance took the victim to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
Later, he was certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Astrid May Grima was informed of the case and appointed an inquiry.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
