I think we can all agree that there’s nothing worse than finding out that your route home has been closed because of a festa.

We’ve all been in the situation where you’re left navigating the backstreets of a town you don’t know, going down one-way roads and praying to God that Google Maps finds an alternative route (which never happens).

Thankfully, The Malta Police Force have published a report on all the road closures happening this weekend, so you don’t have to find yourself in that situation ever again.

The following streets will be closed on Saturday and Sunday between 10pm – 11pm in connection with the festa of Santa Venera

The Marsa-Hamrun Bypass will be closed for vehicles coming from Marsa. Traffic will be diverted under the bridge to the underpass leading to Hal Qormi and Santa Venera.

Also, vehicles coming from the Mrieħel bypass towards the Marsa-Ħamrun bypass will be diverted via the underpass leading to Santa Venera and Ħal Qormi
