Average Maltese Must Work 18.4 Days To Afford Apple’s Newest iPhone
The average Maltese worker needs to work just over 18 days to afford Apple’s latest iPhone model, a new “iPhone Index” report has revealed.
The report presents the number of work days required in order to be able to purchase Apple’s newest smartphone in different countries around the world.
The newest iPhone 15 Pro (128 GB) is priced at €1,249, and the average Maltese earns the average wage of €1,848 gross monthly (€1,428.28 net), meaning they’d have to work for 18.4 days in order to afford Apple’s latest phone.
Interestingly, this is 2.8 days less than last year.
Other countries differ drastically – citizens of Switzerland can earn money for the newest phone in the shortest amount of time (4.2 days), whereas people in Turkey ranked last, having to work 123.7 days (followed by the Philippines and Brazil with 79.5 and 66.6 days respectively).
