Baby Hospitalised After Traffic Accident In Għajn Tuffieħa

A baby was hospitalised this afternoon following a traffic collision in Triq Għajn Tuffieħa. 

Police confirmed that a traffic accident involving a Toyota Vitz and a Kia Picanto occurred on Triq Għajn Tuffieħa, St Paul’s Bay at around 1:30pm.

The Vitz was being driven by a 71-year-old woman from Mġarr while the Kia Picanto was being driven by a 45-year-old Italian man, whose car had three passengers, including a few-months-old baby.

The Vitz driver and the Italian man’s three passengers, including the baby, were all hospitalised. Their conditions are unknown at this stage.
