Balconies Collapse Over Qawra Bar, No Injuries Reported

Two balconies collapsed onto the facade of Shaggy’s Bar in Qawra early this morning.

The incident took place at around 2:10am in Triq l-Imrejkba. Emergency services, including the police and Civil Protection Department, were immediately called to the scene.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

A construction site is currently situated adjacent to the bar, although it remains unclear whether it played any role in the collapse. Authorities are expected to launch an investigation into the incident.

It is next door to a construction site, although it is not known if the collapse is related to that.
