Blocked From Meta, Karl Stagno Navarra Warns Of ‘Diabolical’ PN Civil Disobedience Plot

After he was blocked from posting from Meta’s platforms, Karl Stagno Navarra warned that some people within the PN are concocting up a plan to move Malta towards a state of civil disobedience.
The former ONE journalist told Lovin Malta that Meta informed him he was blocked for “incitement”, that reports were filed by Maltese nationals, and that some even requested that the FBI investigate him.
“The restriction of my access to social media, where I was writing, sharing, and exposing what is happening within the Nationalist Party, is not an isolated incident or simply a reckless act by a few individuals,” Stagno Navarra said.
“This is just a part of a diabolical plan that is being cooked up by some people whose only goal is to shut up everyone who disagrees with them.”
He said he is “extremely concerned” by certain messages emerging from the PN, including MP Karol Aquilina’s mockery of Speaker Anġlu Farrugia in Parliament yesterday.

“The way he challenged and showed disrespect to the authority and integrity of the Speaker confirms the repeated messages I have been receiving from Dar Ċentrali,” he said.
“I know that even Bernard Grech is very worried about this.”
He claimed that Aquilina and his brother, Repubblika activist Robert Aquilina, are working in tandem to move Malta closer to a state of civil disobedience and pressure Prime Minister Robert Abela to call an early election.
He urged PN leader Bernard Grech to kick Aquilina out of the party and disassociate itself from Repubblika as Eddie Fenech Adami had disowned Josie Muscat’s Front Freedom Fighters in the 1980s.
“Malta deserves a PN that is truly nationalist and not subversively populist, where bizarre and shameless characters are allowed to pull the strings of the party, leader and MPs.”
“If Bernard Grech wants to save his already condemned leadership, he must be Maltese enough to stop Karol Aquilina and all those associated with his plan. He knows what I’m talking about and I expect him to act as a leader, not as a puppet.”
Stagno Navarra concluded by urging PL supporters not to “fall for provocation” but to react by uniting behind the party.
