Blood Rain And Dust Haze Incoming As Gale Wind Warning Issued For This ‘Dull’ Weekend
A gale wind warning has been issued by Malta Weather, with blood rain and dust haze also forecast for this weekend.
“A dull weekend is expected across Malta and Gozo as a heat low-pressure system develops well inside the Sahara Desert on Friday, then moving northeastwards towards the Maltese Islands!” the page announced yesterday.
“This will produce very strong southeasterly winds up to Gale Force 8 at times on Saturday with waves expected to peak at nine metres high between late Saturday and early Sunday!”
“This will be followed by a dense dust haze and some blood rain!”
Meanwhile, the Malta International Airport weather channel is predicting temperature highs of 24 degrees, during the isolated showers and the wind.
