Bolt Launches Real-Time Flight Tracking For Scheduled Airport Rides

Bolt has launched a new feature, allowing travellers to schedule a ride from the airport and sync their flight details in the app.
If a flight is delayed or cancelled, Bolt will automatically adjust the pick-up time or cancel the trip at no extra cost.
In a statement, Bolt said it is proud to be an official ride-hailing partner at more than 30 airports, including the Malta International Airport. This allows Bolt riders to be picked up directly from Arrivals, without needing to locate a separate pick-up point.
“Malta International Airport is the country’s only gateway for air travel, and with passenger numbers reaching record highs, we at Bolt in Malta recognise the growing pressure on both the airport and transport infrastructure,” Bolt Malta country manager Ryan Mahoney said.
“Securing transportation can be stressful, especially when flight schedules change unexpectedly. To help solve this, we’re introducing Bolt’s Flight Tracking for Scheduled Rides.”
“This feature allows customers to pre-book their ride with peace of mind, knowing that if their flight is delayed, their pickup will be adjusted automatically.”
“Acknowledging our essential role in transportation in Malta, we strive to minimise inefficiencies, reduce stress, and effectively manage the increasing demands on the airport, ensuring a smoother travel experience for all passengers and cab drivers.”
