Borg And Delia Fire Back After Abela Accuses Them Of Selling Out To ‘PN Extremists’

Alex Borg and Adrian Delia called out Prime Minister Robert Abela after he claimed they have “sold themselves out” to “extremists” within the Nationalist Party.
“This morning, Robert Abela said I sold myself to some faction within the PN,” Borg said. “Robert Abela judges others by his own standards and forgets how many pacts he entered to become PL leader.”
“It seems he wants us to forget that he tied his hands on issues that impact people’s daily lives, because he’s unable to take action.”
“No matter what Robert Abela and the PL say, I am determined to push forward leadership based on inclusivity with a single goal – to being about the necessary change within the party and the country.”
Meanwhile, Delia said that he is not, and has never been, for sale.
“The Prime Minister believes that everything has a price, including one’s own soul,” Delia said. “He cannot believe that some people view politics solely as a means to serve, and not to be served.”
“Whenever he’s free, let’s hold a debate so I can tell you who truly sold their soul in this country.”
