Eight-Year-Old Boy And Motorcyclist Rushed To Hospital After Rabat Accident
An eight-year-old boy and a motorcyclist were rushed to hospital after a traffic accident in Rabat.
At around 7.15pm Sunday evening, the police were informed of a traffic accident within the limits of Binġemma in Rabat.
Police went to the scene and found that a collision occurred between a Ford Fiesta driven by a 39-year-old resident of Żebbuġ and a motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old Rabat resident.
An eight-year-old boy who was a passenger in the car was present for the collision.
A medical team was called to the scene and an ambulance took the motorcyclist and the child to Mater Dei for medical assistance.
They were later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
