BREAKING: PN’s Communications Chief Resigns After Only Three Months
The Nationalist Party’s communications chief David Bonello has resigned, a mere three months after taking up his position. Bonello confirmed his resignation with Lovin Malta, citing “personal reasons” and pledging his continued support for the PN and its leader Adrian Delia.
Bonello was Delia’s media spokesperson during his successful leadership campaign last summer. After winning the election, Delia appointed Bonello as the PN’s communications director – replacing Matthew Bonett, who had been in the position since 2014.
Bonello had stints in journalism with XFM, Net and TVM, and gained political PR experience by working as the local assistant for MEP Francis Zammit Dimech.
