BREAKING: Police Receive Fresh Allegations Linking Keith Schembri To Corruption Scandals
Police have this evening received fresh information allegedly linking Keith Schembri to a series of corruption scandals, Lovin Malta is informed.
As the investigation into Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder widens, the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff has been cast under the spotlight once again.
Schembri is on record admitting that the secret Dubai company 17 Black (which belongs to prime suspect Yorgen Fenech) was listed as potential clients in draft business plans for Schembri’s Kasco business group.
Net News today reported a late night meeting between Schembri and Muscat at the Prime Minister’s private residence in Burmarrad.
Sources told Lovin Malta that the meeting coincided with fresh details of corruption having been handed to the police.
The well-placed sources did not exclude that the allegations were also relevant to the murder investigation.
Meanwhile, police are tomorrow expected to arraign Fenech in connection with Caruana Galizia’s murder.
