Prime Minister Joseph Muscat will be addressing the nation in a broadcast this evening on TVM.

While it is unknown what Muscat will be discussing in his message, the sudden announcement comes after a week of political turmoil for the country. There have been constant protests in the streets calling for him to step down, amid heavy political fallout, even from within his own administration.

His message is set to be broadcast after 7:45 pm this evening. 

In a rolling headline under the video of a dung beetle rolling a ball of dung, TVM confirmed that Muscat would be addressing the nation in the sudden announcement.
