BREAKING: Rubber Boat Carrying 80 People In Distress In Malta’s Search And Rescue Zone
A rubber boat carrying around 80 people is currently in distress within Malta’s search and rescue zone.
The boat has been in distress for a few hours according to reports from Alarm Phone, an independent support line for people crossing the Mediterranean Sea to the EU.
Earlier this morning, a group of 56 migrants was brought to Malta.
A group of 90 was brought in last Tuesday while a group of 45, including a pregnant woman and children, were brought in on Wednesday.
