BREAKING: Yorgen Fenech Will Be Placed Back Under Arrest After Police Conduct Search Of Yacht And Home

A fresh detail has emerged from Yorgen Fenech allegedly being granted police bail, with well-informed sources telling Lovin Malta that he was taken with officers to conduct a search of his yacht and home in Portomaso, and will be placed under arrest once again in a few hours.
Officers will remain with Fenech at Portomaso for a few hours then place him under arrest once again, kicking off a fresh 48-hours, with the previous set to expire at 5am tomorrow.
While he may have technically been granted bail, sources have indicated that interrogations will continue on tomorrow.
Under Maltese law, a person cannot be kept under arrest for more than 48-hours without being charged with a crime.
Earlier this evening several media outlets insisted that Fenech was released on strict police bail conditions. He may be spending the night at home, but he will be under police supervision until he returns back to the depot with officers.
Fenech was arrested yesterday as he tried to sail away from Malta in connection with the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
