British Man Who Died In St Julian’s Fall Identified As Kieran Hughes
The 25-year-old British man who died after falling from the balcony of a St Julian’s hotel has been identified as Kieran Thomas Hughes from Gwynedd, Wales.
Police were called to the Cavalieri Art Hotel after Hughes tragically fell from the balcony. Upon arriving at the scene, Kieran was pronounced dead on site.
His father described Kieran, who has a twin, as a talented engineer with a promising future ahead of him.
Member of the Senedd Sian Gwenllian, who represents Arfon, said in a statement that Kieran Hughes’s death was “truly devastating”.
An investigation by the Malta Police Force is currently ongoing as the family awaits more information.
