Give your start-up idea the chance to flourish into a successful business with Pitchora. Not needing to relinquish any of your valuable equity, the €60,000 prize fund has no strings attached.

Make sure you don’t miss your chance to get the gears going and submit your application by the 14th of June.

The top of the line CEOs and investors from all across Malta and Gozo will evaluate each unique business idea and pick the 10 finalists between them. The 28th July will be filled to the brim with sensational pitches and innovative ideas.

Knowing how to best pitch your idea to get investors and consumers alike intrigued can be quite the challenge. Hooking your listener in and getting them excited about your idea in 500 seconds will play a pretty big part in your success.

Teaming up with the JAYE Foundation, all of the 10 finalists are offered free pitch training at Pitchora. This is how you can learn to captivate your audience using just your enthusiasm.

Untelevised and privately judged, each and every start-up will have a safe space where C-Suite professionals can judge and discuss the finalists’ intellectual property without it being at risk.

By signing non-disclosure agreements, every member of the audience will form part of the safe space created by Pitchora. Once the contestants have pitched their business model privately in the morning, the doors will be open to the public.

Filled with various events, Pitchora will have an investors’ corner and even a whole session of Pitchora Talks. Coming together to launch Pitchora Talks, some of the minds behind this opportunity are Silicon Valletta, The Malta Chamber, YPO – The Malta Chapter and various other professionals will be hosting dedicated panels that deal with the entirety of the start-up community.

Hosted at the University of Malta campus found in Valletta, the Pirchora Expo Floor will host a showcase of fifteen local start-ups. An investor’s corner will also be set up where the start-ups that have passed the incubation phase and are ready to soar will be.

The grand winners will be announced on Friday 29th July all across social media, so keep your eyes glued to their pages. Apart from the €60,000 equity-free prize fund, the winner will also win a unique starter package.
