Can You Help Save Them? Ahead Of Netanyahu’s Rafah Invasion, Palestinian Family Launches Desperate GoFundMe

All eyes are on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and whether he can be convinced to not move forward with his latest military attack – an invasion of the city of Rafah, with an estimated 1.3 million civilians standing in his way.

As the horrors of the Gaza incursion continue following the 7th October attacks, one man caught in the middle of it all can only think of one thing: how to save his family.

Talat Al Hasayna already lost over 80 family members over the last months, with his family home reduced to rubble. Having lived in Malta before, he has pled with Prime Minister Robert Abela to be granted asylum before he and his remaining children are murdered.

However, those calls have fallen on deaf ears, with no response from the Maltese government.

“No words can describe what we have been through,” Talat said. “Humbly and with my hand on heart I must say this is the worst thing any human can face; what I am experiencing right now. These weeks scarred my living permanently.”

Losing hope that he may escape the carnage, but unable to sit still, he has now launched a GoFundMe to raise money to rebuild a home for his family… if they survive.

“The current situation shows no light at the end of the tunnel,” he said.
“I am hereby asking for considering this as a humanitarian crisis, allowing us to rebuild a house that will shelter me and my family, and I will be able to restore the headquarters of our company and restart it again so that we can start over again and renew the broken dreams of my family and ambitions which all were lost on that tragic night of the 22nd November.”
