Cancer Survivor’s Beautiful Gesture To Young Boy Who Stole Malta’s Heart
Katriel Zahra touched the hearts of many when he appeared on Xarabank to give a raw interview about life as a young Lupus sufferer and to say he forgives the children who bullied him because of his illness.
It was an uplifting interview, but also an incredibly heart-wrenching one – particularly when he described how difficult it was to deal with Lupus-induced hair loss given that he wants to become a hairdresser when he grows up.
It turns out that one of the many people the young boy inspired was Clint Abela-Wadge, a hair salon owner who himself fought and defeated cancer twice and now wants to see Katriel fulfil his dreams too.
“I have contacted this young boy’s family and on Saturday I will bring him to my salon where he will spend half a day with our team,” he said. “He will also take part in a photoshoot [by Alana Bondin] inside the hair salon. I’m looking forward to meeting you.”
Sometimes it’s the smallest things can make the biggest difference…
