A vehicle overturned in the limits of Rabat, leading to traffic piling up in the area.

The accident, which happened at around 4pm yesterday evening on Triq L-Imdina, saw the vehicle turn onto its side before coming to a rest on the side of the road, near a dry stone wall.

A police spokesperson said that part of government property was also damaged in the accident.

Fortunately, no one was injured and medical assistance was not needed.

Eventually, officers were able to redirect traffic around the vehicle until the situation was addressed.
