Cars have been vandalised at Mater Dei’s underground car park, the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses (MUMN) has warned.

Photos taken by the MUMN and originally published by Newsbook show a parked car with its bumper ripped off, and others with broken mirrors and other dents.

MUMN said that there have been similar cases of vandalism in recent months and years, and that they reported these latest incidents to Health Minister Jo Etienne Abela and Mater Dei CEO Keith Attard.

They said Abela expressed his shock at the vandalism and pledged to install CCTV cameras in the car park as soon as possible.
