Cat Fosterer Raises Over €4,000 After Heartbreaking Video Pleading For Help Touches The Nation
Miriam Borg Debrincat was able to raise over €4,000 for her cat fostering work after a video of her pleading for help touched the hearts of Maltese people all around the island.
“I’m forever grateful,” Borg Debrincat told Lovin Malta.
Borg Debrincat can be seen tearfully explaining that a lack of funds has caused her to turn down new cases, making her feel gut-wrenching guilt when having to tell people to “call animal welfare”.
She continued the video by showing their current cases, explaining each cat’s individual situation and calling for fosterers.
The video was shared on 24th November and since then, it was covered by Lovin Malta urging viewers to donate to the cause.
In an extremely positive spin, Lovin Malta received a gleeful message from Debrincat informing us that she has raised over €4,000 in funds for her important work with felines in need.
“We collected €4,000 plus in donations. It still doesn’t feel real – I can’t thank you enough.”
