Civil Protection Malta Assists In Two Rescue Operations In The North

Article Featured Image

Civil Protection Malta was called in for not one, but two separate rescues yesterday, both involving women who were injured while out walking in the north of Malta.

The first incident occurred in the Selmun area, where a woman trekking through the terrain suffered a foot injury.

Due to the location, she had to be immobilised and transported by sea to reach medical assistance.

Just a few hours later, emergency responders were once again on the move, this time to the cliffs beside Golden Bay Beach, where another woman was injured after a fall.

Fire Stations 3 and 5 were involved in both operations with Civil Protection Malta extending its thanks to the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department and The Malta Police Force for their support in both rescues.
